Our service

It’s the heart of your home and one of the most important purchases you’ll ever make so how do you start to design your new kitchen? At Urban Myth we aim to make the whole process as stress-free as possible. The first step is to book an appointment for a consultation at our showroom where you will meet your designer who will remain your direct contact throughout your whole project.

1. Consultation

At your first consultation your designer will take you through our showroom which has been specifically designed to inspire and offer you the opportunity to experience the quality of the finishes and features available. You will then talk through possible lay-outs, and create your ideal wish list.

2. Design

Your designer, and our dedicated design team will create a detailed visual, plan, and quotation for your kitchen. We will then invite you back to our showroom to present our ideas for your new kitchen and talk through your specifications in detail.

After this meeting, we trust that you'll be satisfied with the direction we’ve taken your kitchen design and ask us to proceed. We will then ask for an initial design fee allowing us to release drawings and visuals or make any necessary amendments to your design. This fee is deducted from your final order total.


3. Your order

Once your design and specification have been finalised, you will be asked to sign a confirmation of your order. We will arrange for detailed service drawings to be created and your dedicated project manager will arrange a site visit. An installation meeting will be held between our installers, designer and project manager to ensure your job is completed in the shortest time possible. We will work closely with you and your builders to create a schedule for the next step…the installation.

4. Installation

From the moment our delivery team arrives with your goods, our installer, designer and project manager will be on hand to answer any questions you may have as your kitchen progresses. Any finishes you have chosen such as Granite or Corian or Glass will be handled by material specific specialists.

5. More than a kitchen

Our service

We want to ensure that you are as comfortable in your new kitchen as you were in your last so, if needed, we can arrange for our specialist home economist to visit your home and run through how to use all your new appliances.


6. Customer Handbook

At Urban Myth we believe that our service shouldn’t end when your kitchen is installed.

This guide has been developed to help you keep your kitchen or bedroom furniture in the best possible condition, including hints and tips on how best to use and maintain the furniture and appliances.
