Gaynes Park House 4

Occasionally a project comes along that has the power to wow all involved and Gaynes Park has achieved this – twice.

We were first instructed by AWC to design and install all seven kitchens for the converted Gaynes Park Mansion. This in itself is a project that we are immensely proud of. The vision of the future, however, was to build five more houses within the grounds of the mansion. These contemporary structures are seamlessly built into the countryside and provide spectacular views of Essex and the London city skyline.

Every detail has been meticulously designed to suit the individuality of each house. Our client wanted a minimalist style that would appeal to many tastes whilst generating a unique and practical space for cooking and entertaining.

The kitchen in house four (pictured) is from our Urban Style range and the cabinetry is finished in a combination of High Gloss Terra Oak and Brilliant White. The worktops have been designed with Blanco Zeus Silestone Quartz with a contrasting breakfast bar in Doradus Silestone Quartz.

This rich coloured surface of Terra Oak is a sumptuous blend of dark slate tones with a light wood grain surface pattern. It makes a bold statement but is warmer than a solid black and the gloss finish emphasises the natural light in the room and is easy to clean.

The tall units house a bank of appliances that include a Miele combination oven, steam oven and warming drawers. The Gaggenau integrated fridge and freezer are beautiful inside and out with Stainless Steel interiors illuminated by LED light pillars and a motorised glass shelf to ensure optimum use of space is achieved effortlessly.
